Close 600cc Tri-Track Championship Battle Finale` Heads To Action Track USA in Kutztown on Wednesday, 7/9‏

Close 600cc Tri-Track Championship Battle Heads To Action Track USA On July 9
Wingless Finale` Will Be Wild; SpeedSTR's & Slingers Also On The Menu

Kutztown, Pa.- When the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA returns from its summer break on July 9, the uncommonly competitive oval will host the third and final leg of the 600cc Sprints Tri-Track Challenge. The lucrative event is presented by Hyper Racing & Hollingers Sports N Turf, and it offers a minimum of $800 to the winner. That amount could jump to $1,000 if the victor chooses to take the Gambler's Challen ge when signing in for competition.

After two events, the Tri-Track Challenge point standings are extremely tight, with a mere six points separating the top four and only sixteen points separate the first six wheel-twisters in the battle for the inaugural Tri-Track Challenge Championship.

Douglassville's Jason Swavely finished third in the winged races at Linda's Speedway and Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, putting him at the top of the standings - by just one point over James Morris, who already owns a feature win at the Action Track USA on the Kutztown Fairgrounds.

Morris, "the Real Deal from Riegelsville", is only one point in front of Mifflintown's Tyler Walton, who is not an Action Track regular but has indicated his intention to enter the finale`in Kutztown on Wednesday.

PJ Williams trails Swavely by six points, and Action Track regular Mike Rutherford is firmly in the mix for the Tri-Track title, just eight points behind the mini-series leader.

The rest of the top ten in Tri-Track points, and with an outside shot at the championship, include Tony DiMattia, Dan Souder, Austin Bishop, Kyle Lick, and Steve Whary. All have experience racing without a wing, which is how the third and final event will be contested on Wednesday.

<SPAN class=text_exposed_show>As a weekly competitor at the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA, Morris can earn a $200 bonus from co-promoters Rich Tobias and Doug Rose if he is able to win the Tri-Track title.

Even if he comes up short in the championship battle, Walton could go home with a $200 bonus as the top finishing invader on Wednesday. Tobias and Rose have posted the bonus to anyone who has not competed at the Action Track USA this season. The finishing position does not matter; the invader who records the highest finish will pick up the added cash.

This "can't miss" event will have many bonuses to go along with the attractive winner's payout. The incentives are listed below:

*An extremely low $20.00 Entry Fee (for a lucrative payoff such as this).
*$20.00 Gamblers Fee = $1000.00 to Win.
*$10.00 Gamblers Fee = $900.00 to Win.
*$200.00 Bonus to the Top Finishing Invader presented by LHS Racing Engines. The definition of Invader = anyone who has not competed at the Action Track in 2014. Does not matter where you finish on July 9; the highest finishing invader wins an extra 200 dollars.
*Free Car Entry to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th , and 5th finishing Invaders for all of the remaining regular shows in the 2014 season at Action Track USA.
*$200.00 Bonus to any of our Action Track Regulars if he/she wins the Tri Track Challenge (must have competed at 4 of 5 Action Track events in 2014 to qualify as a regular).

*$50 to take the green in the A-Main.
*Hard Charger receives an American Racer RR tire.
*Hard Luck driver receives an American Racer RR tire.
*Two Non-Qualifiers will receive American Racer RR tires.
*The second and third place finishers will receive Kreitz Oval Track Parts gift certificates.
*Two Non-Qualifiers will receive Kreitz Oval Track Parts gift certificates.
The Tri-Track finale` in Kutztown will be the only non-winged race in the mini-series, meaning the driver who walks off with the Challenge Championship will have to prove his/her versatility and ability to adapt not only to different tracks, but to the winged and non-winged fire breathing, ground pounding 600cc Sprints.
On Wednesday, July 9, the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA on the Kutztown Fairgrounds will open its pit gates at 4 p.m., with grandstand gates opening at 5:00. Warm-ups begin at 6:15 and qualifying gets underway at 6:35.
The USAC Championship SpeedSTR's and NAPA Auto Parts All Star Slingshots, fresh off their successful Mid-Summer Thunder event on the asphalt of Mahoning Valley Speedway, will join the Wingless 600cc Sprints, presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings, for this blockbuster program on July 9.
Jeff Strunk sits atop the SpeedSTR point parade; the Pottstown throttle-jockey holds a slim 12-point advantage over three-time winner Billy Pauch Sr. The $3,000 victor of the Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial, Billy Pauch Jr., is currently third in the standings, just 37 points in arrears. Kyle Weiss and defending SpeedSTR point champ Kenny Brightbill are fourth and fifth in the chase, with a not too comfortable 75 points separating first from fifth in the standings.
Danny Buccafusca, last year's All Star Slingshot cha mpion, built some momentum just before the two-week break and extended his point lead to 55 over former track champ Brett Bieber. Those two drivers have pulled away in the championship chase from Larry Raifsnider and Dylan Hoch, but there' s a lot of racing left in the 2014 season; Raifsnider, Hoch, and two-time feature winner Mark Sensenig are not completely out of the championship picture.
Come get your midweek motorsports adrenaline rush at the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA on the Kutztown Fairgrounds...where the Superstars come to race!
