VP RACING FUELS POSTS MODIFIED AND SPORTSMAN CONTINGENCY AWARDS FOR GRANDVIEW RACERS ON RACE GAS

BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 18, 2013 . . . VP Racing Fuels has posted a contingency program for Modified and Sportsman competitors at Grandview Speedway for the 2013 season.

"Last year, as racers recognized the performance benefits of switching from methanol to VP race gas, we began awarding racers with product certificates. For 2013 we are posting $150 to the highest finishing Modified on VP race gas and $75 to the highest finishing Sportsman car on VP race gas" said Jim Kelly, Eastern Regional Manager for VP.

To qualify for the award, racers must provide proof of purchase and prominently display VP's 5x7" red, white and blue decal on left and right side of the race car and VP's 3x4" red, white and blue VP logo patch on their driver's suit.

"It took some time but following the lead of Doug Manmiller, who was the first to really recognize the benefit of fueling with VP race gas over methanol, more and more racers have made the changeover. Last season Manmiller used gas to finish second in the lucrative track and NASCAR point chases. On Saturday, April 13th, both Doug and Craig Von Dohren fueled with VP's C-12 and won 35-lap NASCAR features at Grandview beating out the methanol cars. These contingencies recognize their performance and award them $150 (fuel certificate) each" Kelly continued.

“VP is also recognizing top performers in the Sportsman division at Grandview Speedway,” said track marketing director Ernie Saxton. “This year VP will award $75 (fuel certificate) to the highest finishing Sportsman racer in feature races provided they qualify for the award. We appreciate the great support of VP.

Grandview Speedway continues to offer NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman racing each and every Saturday night throughout the season which runs from early April to late September.
