RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES

URC HAS BUSY SCHEDULE HEADING INTO JULY

The Rislone URC Sprint Series is gearing up for a big night of racing at Charlie Cathell's Delaware International Speedway this Saturday night in an event that will be part of the Taylor & Messick Delaware State Sprint Series. Racing action will get underway at 7 PM.

URC point leader JJ Grasso will lead the roster of talent to the First State for the third visit to Delaware International in 2011. Kramer Williamson and Dave Ely were the previous feature winner at Delaware International. Six different winners have visited the URC victory lane in the seven events presented so far this year on the Rislone URC Sprint Series. JJ Grasso is the only duplicate winner and is joined by single event winners Daryn Pittman, Kramer Williamson, Shane Stewart, Dave Ely and Mark Smith.

Grasso leads the Rlslone URC Sprint Series point chase but as we've seen in the past, the point battle is far from over. Seven time URC Champion Curt Michael is positioned in second and will chase down the valuable points needed to challenge Grasso.

Following the Saturday night URC event at the Delaware International Speedway, the URC Sprints will move to the Georgetown Speedway in Georgetown, DE on Friday night, July 1st. URC will head north to the New Egypt Speedway for an event on Saturday night, July 2nd. The following weekend, URC will again have a two race weekend, kicking off at the Big Diamond Raceway on Friday night, July 8 with a visit the following night to the Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday, July 9th.
