THUNDER SERIES TO REACH "100" AT NEXT EVENT. . . . .

410 SPRINTS & 358 MODIFIEDS DOUBLE HEADER SET FOR GRANDVIEW TUESDAY, JUNE 28

The 100th event of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will unfold at the Grandview Speedway on Tuesday night, June 28. The long and rich history of Thunder on the Hill will be celebrated on this historic night, bringing together the two divisions that were the backbone of this wildly successful, award winning mid-week racing series. For the race fans, an affordable $20 adult admission ticket price will be offered, pretty much an unheard of ticket price, for two premier divisions coming together for one night of racing.

The 410 sprints will compete in time trials, qualifying events and a $5,000 to win 35 lap feature. For the 358 modifieds, they'll compete in qualifying events all leading up to the $2,500 to win 25 lap feature event. The modified purse has been adjusted to off $255 just to take the green flag. Gates will open at 5 PM with racing getting underway at 7:30 PM.

Joe the Pizza Dude, a traditional visitor to all Thunder on the Hill events will be sponsored by Nia's Restorante, as he runs through the grandstands, giving away Pizza. Nia's Restorante in located at 41 King's Plaza in Oley, PA and is owned by local racing personality Doug Rose.
