LINCOLN SPEEDWAY PPB MODIFIED & SPRINT DOUBLEHEADER

MACH 1 358/360 Sprints to pay $3,000 To Win. . . . . . .

ANTICIPATION. . . . . .THE MODIFIEDS ARE COMING. . . ROC MODIFIEDS GEAR UP FOR LINCOLN SPEEDWAY INVASION TUESDAY, JULY 12

It could very well be, the most anticipated modified race of the year.

Pioneer Pole Buildings present an ROC Modified and 358/360 Sprint Doubleheader at the famed Lincoln Speedway and it all takes place on Tuesday night, July 12. The modifieds last circled the Lincoln Speedway some twenty-five years ago, and a lot has changed since then, including the size and configuration of the now three-eighth mile clay oval. Turn four, also known as the "tunnel turn", now has an under track passage that goes from the grandstand to an infield open for spectator race viewing. There are plenty of seats that begin in turn one and continue deep into turn four. Lincoln Speedway is an extremely "fan friendly" facility to enjoy this history making first time double header in the Pigeon Hills.

With strong sponsorship support from Pioneer Pole Buildings, MACH 1 Chassis and NAPA Auto Parts, this spectacular event will offer a $20 adult general admission price. Students 12 to 17 are just $15, children 6-11 $5 and kids under six will be admitted for free. The pit fee will be $25 and a license is not required. In the event of rain, Wednesday night, July 13 will be the rain date.

The ROC Modifieds will compete in a series of qualifying events leading up to the $5,000 to win 60 lap feature event. The MACH 1 358/360 Sprint Challenge will offer heats a "B" Main and a 25 lap feature paying $3,000 to the winner.

Expected modified entries include Race of Champions point leader Billy Decker, Jeff Strunk, Stewart Friesen, Duane Howard, Craig VonDohren, Bobby Varin, Danny Johnson, Pat Ward, Mike Gular, Larry Wight, Kevin Hirthler, Ryan Phelps, Rick Laubach, Jimmy Horton, Billy Pauch, Doug Manmiller and Richie Pratt. The roster for the MACH 1 358/360 Sprint Challenge is equally impressive to include Daryn Pittman, Mark Smith, Aaron Ott, Brian Montieth, Billy Dietrich, Pat Cannon, Blane Heimbach, Cory Haas, Keith Prutzman, Dave Ely, Niki Young, Adrian Shaffer and Kramer Williamson just to name a few.

The BFP Specialty ROC & ROLL the Dice Challenge will work this way. Drivers will pay a $100 fee to participate. 100% of all money collected by BFP Specialty will be paid back to the winning driver. For example, the 60 lap modified feature is already paying $5,000 to the winner. If ten drivers participate in the BFP Specialty ROC & ROLL the Dice Challenge, and additional $1,000 will go to the winner. If twenty drivers participate, the main event will pay $7,000. In addition, every driver that enters the Challenge will receive a $25 certificate for BFP Specialty that may be used towards any purchase of $200 or more.

The BFP Specialty bonus will be paid out in victory to the winner of the 60 lap modified feature event. Drivers may send their BFP ROC & ROLL the Dice entry fee to:

BFP Specialty's LLC
9090 Old Route 22
Bethel, PA 19507

For more information, call BFP at 717-933-4999 or Ben Moyer at 717-679-4816. Entries will be accepted up to the Drivers Meeting the day of the race. BFP Specialty located in Bethel, PA will also be the parts supplier for the Modifieds at the Lincoln Speedway ROC event.

Modified lap sponsorship is available for a minimum of $10 per lap by contacting Ben Moyer at 717-679-4816.

And still another bonus is up for grabs for the modifieds on Tuesday night, July 12. In memory of Chad Miller, Award the winner of each modified heat will earn $50 to be paid on race night. Sponsoring the Award is Donnie, Patti and Chelsea Miller, in the memory of Chad Miller. Those who knew Chad, truly understand the special person he was and his over-riding love for racing, family and friends. We appreciate the heat race winner's bonus money and lets all work to preserve the memory of Chad Miller.

Lincoln Speedway is a very popular and "fan friendly" track in the tri-state area, offering great unobstructed viewing from every seat in the grandstands. The infield is open for watching the races by entering through the fourth turn tunnel. The pits are asphalt, with a slight elevation and great lighting a so fans can watch all the pit action as well. The three-eighth mile Lincoln Speedway offers it all, the high speeds that you would see at the "big tracks" with the flair and excitement of the short track "bull rings". At Lincoln Speedway, you'll have it all.
