MOTORSPORTS MOMENT FROM THE PAST
This look's to be from 1989 or 1990 The Sal Debruno Overhead Doors BB modified on display at motorsports. Look's fast just sitting there, i bet wayne was itchin to see some action in this ride. Maybe wayne can leave a comment or two with the precise year, and some result's he had with this team, and who drove the miget in the background?

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting, this car brings back many memories driving for Sal DeBruno. This photo was taken in 1990. I only drove for Sal a little over a season. My brother Paul drove for many years for Sal. I did get several wins in Sal's potent 0 Modifieds. We also finished 4th. in points at Bridgeport that year and I think 3rd. or 4th. in points in the Mid-Atlantic series that they had. The Mid-Atlantic series was a pretty neat concept. We ran a 50 lap race at Bridgeport, Flemington and Delmar and then at the end of the season we ran a 100 lapper at each track. I actually drove the Micro in the Philadelphia Convention center.

Great! Thank's for The comment's Wayne. I was not sure that you had any win's with this team. Also i knew Paul had driven this car sucessfully for a number of year's. How did the micro ride pan out? They can be wicked little beast if you never drove one before lol.
