ADMISSION for all Saturday REGULAR events is $14 for adults, $5 for youngsters 6 thru 11 and under 6 are admitted for FREE. Always free parking on the speedway grounds.

GRANDVIEW BATTING .500 WITH MA NATURE AS RAIN WIPES OUT SATURDAY NIGHT RACING ACTION
BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 7, 2011 . . . They are batting .500 at Grandview Speedway. Six races have been scheduled so far this season, three dates have been completed and three have been rained out including Saturday night’s tripleheader which would have featured the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and a NEETS Enduro.
“We got caught with the track surface bladed open,” said track owner Bruce Rogers. “When the rains come with the track surface bladed open it is difficult to get it ready for racing. We kept hoping that the rain would stop and we would have a chance to get to work.
“Unfortunately the rain was still coming down at 6 p.m. and there was no way we were going to be able to get the track sealed and ready for racing at a reasonable hour. Rather than put the racers and fans through all that and still having the possibility of more rain, we cancelled.”
The NEETS Enduro scheduled for Saturday night will be rescheduled for a later date.
Racing action returns to NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway on Saturday, May 14th at 7:30 p.m. with the Whelen Engineering sponsored doubleheader featuring the 358 Modifieds and Late Models. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. and pit gates are open at 4 p.m.
Bechtelsville Car Wash will be a first time sponsor at Grandview Speedway putting their name on the NASCAR 358 Modified and Late Model doubleheader on Saturday, May 21st. Included will be a Bechtelsville Car Wash sponsored Cash Dash for Modifieds.
The first Thunder on the Hill promotion, a co-promotion of Bob Miller and Bruce Rogers, is set for Wednesday, May 25th at 7:30 p.m. with the Keystone State Speedweek 410 sprinters in action along with the 358 Modifieds.
Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay oval, is located at 43 Passmore Road in Bechtelsville, PA just off Route 100, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
