AFTER HOURS AUTO GLASS SIGNS ON AS A PRIMARY MARKETING PARTNER FOR MODIFIED MAYHEM ON AUGUST 22 AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Sicklerville, NJ (August 13, 2014) – With less than two weeks until Modified Mayhem on Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile track, After Hours Auto Glass has signed on to become a primary marketing partner for the August 22 event. Modified Mayhem, a co-promotion of Bridgeport Speedway and Wiz Motorsports Communications, will showcase the return of Modified cars on the inner oval.

After Hours Auto Glass has over thirty years of experience and they provide complete auto glass replacement and repair. With their free mobile service, a windshield can be replaced at your home or office or their location in Southern New Jersey. Scheduled for Friday, August 22 at 8:00 p.m., Modified Mayhem will include any type of Modified from Crate/Sportsman through Big Block Modified as an open motor rule is in effect. Over thirty drivers have expressed interest in this special race. In addition, any 13 X 92 Modified track tire can be used for the race. A standard Dirt Car Modified body with or without Sail Panels can be used. No additional wings are permitted. 

Along with the purse which is currently at $800 to win and $100 to take the green, several additional awards will be up for grabs at Modified Mayhem. Black Flagged Racing will be presenting trophies to the top three finishers.  ERK Steering, a steering box repair company owned and operated by Eric Kormann, has generously donated a $50 gift certificate for the victor with $25 gift certificates awarded to the eleventh through fifteenth place finishers.  Jones Racing Products has graciously agreed to offer a $50 gift certificate to the runner-up and to the recipient of the Hard Luck award. CTS Lawn Care is sponsoring a $100 Hard Charger Award to the driver, other than the victor of the feature, who advances the most positions from his or her starting spot.  

Fans attending Modified Mayhem will have a chance to go home with some giveaways. As a unique offering, Flower Transfer Logistics of Sewell, NJ will be donating a dozen red roses to be given to the victor’s wife, girlfriend or Mom. Plus, Flower Transfer Logistics has donated USB flash drives and hats to be given to spectators. More hats will be given out to the fans through Certified Laboratories. A bike giveaway for kids has been added. Plus, Miss Wiz Motorsports will be maki ng her debut at the event.

A practice for the Modifieds on Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile is set for Friday, August 15. Along with the test and tune session for the Modifieds, racing will take place with the Micro-Sprints (270cc and 600cc), 4-Cylinder Cars and 8-Cylinder Enduro Cars on the inner oval and the TSRS Sprint Cars will compete on the five-eighth mile track. On Friday, August 15, all gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Warm-ups start at 7:30 p.m. with racing getting underway at 8:00 p.m. Pit fees will be $25 with a Bridgeport Speedway Friday night license and $30 without a Bridgeport Speedway Friday night license. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults with kids 9 and under admitted for free.
