NARDELLI IS ADAPTING TO HIS SPEEDSTR AND NEW HOMETRACK

Sicklerville, NJ (June 7, 2014) – In his first full season of racing a SpeedSTR, Lee Nardelli is adapting to a new type of car as well as a new racing venue. After competing primarily in the Micro-Sprint ranks for the past several seasons, the young man from Southern New Jersey is acclimating well to the JefferyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA and the strong field of drivers in the division.

With his rear axle repaired from the malfunction that occurred on Wednesday, May 28, Nardelli made the trek to the Kutztown, PA track on Wednesday, June 4 from his Bridgeton, NJ home. Unlike the last event in May, Nardelli was able to compete in the qualifying events and feature race. Nardelli started the 40-lap Flying Farmer main in twenty-first place. “We didn’t qualify as well as we needed to,” commented the driver from Cumberland County. With a racy track, Nardelli found the inside groove to his liking during the extra distance feature. “I found the bottom to be working the best for me,” stated Nardelli.  When the checkered flag waved, Nardelli was scored in fourteenth place. Overall, the 2011 600cc Micro-Sprint champion was pleased with the outcome of his night of racing. “We are still trying different setups. With the competition level being high, we are happy with how the night turned out,” summarized Nardelli who will be back in action at the Berks County oval on Wednesday, June 11.
