CELEBRATE FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND AT THE BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

 

 

     The Bridgeport Speedway can be your answer to that Father's Day dilemma!   Dad doesn't need a new tie but he just might enjoy a night at the races at the Bridgeport Speedway!

 

     The Father's Day Special is an all access package.  For just $50, you get one general admission ticket, 1 sky box for the night (which will seat 12 people!) and an all access pass to the pit area where you can see the drivers and their crews as they prepare for the night of racing!

 

      There will also be a Father's Day Football Toss that will reward the winner with a $100 cash prize!

 

      Saturday night is Tough Truck Night at the speedway - sponsored by Penn Co Tech.  Trophies will be awarded to the top five trucks in the show.  There will be a parade lap around the speedway just for the Tough Trucks!   Each truck entry will receive two admissions to the track.

 

     On tap for Saturday night racing action will be the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modifieds, the 811 Dig Safely Crate Sportsman, the DA's Auto Body & Repair Rookie and the Stewart Stainless Outlaw Stocks with all competing on the 5/8 mile speedway. 

 

     The Big Block Modifieds will be trimmed out in sail panels for this Saturday night's action which includes a 25 lap feature event.  The Big Block Modifieds will pre-stage behind the grandstand for their feature event, giving everyone an up close look at the starting line-up.  The Crate/Sportsman will compete in a twenty lap feature event, the Outlaw Stocks will duel it out for fifteen laps while the Rookie Feature is an eight lap contest for the first year drivers.  Racing action starts at 7pm on Saturday night. 

 

     Jim Oldt will supply musical entertainment before the start of the racing events.  As always, there's the Moon Bounce and the Bandit Bus to entertain the youngsters throughout the evening.  There will be free T-shirt launches throughout the grandstand area during the night.  Big Block Modified competitor, Rusty Smith, Crate/Sportsman driver, Gary Hieber, Jr., and Outlaw Stock challenger, Jack Beaumont will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for pictures as the fans enter the speedway on Saturday. 

 

     As always, action takes place on the 1/4 mile track on Friday night with both 600cc and 270cc Micro Sprints and 4 Cylinder competition, staring at 8pm.
