RAIN STOPS URC RUN FRIDAY AT POTOMAC SPEEDWAY, RACES ARE A GO FOR SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE HIGH BANKS OF WINCHESTER SPEEDWAY

The rain has moved in and it’s here to stay throughout the night, said weather forecasters for the Mechanicsville, MD area, home of the Potomac Speedway.   As a result, the Rislone URC Sprints, scheduled for tonight at the Potomac Speedway, will be cancelled.  At this time, there are no plans to reschedule this event.

 

The Rislone URC Sprint Series will invade the Winchester Speedway  on Saturday night, June 14.      Winchester is a high banked 3/8^th mile oval and a very racy track.  The facility is located just off route 81 in Winchester, VA.

 

Winchester Speedway  “The Action Track”,  will celebrate  Performance Auto Works Night on Saturday.    Joining URC will be the Super Late Models, Crates and the Pure Stocks Leo Nichols Memorial.    Gates will open at 4 PM with warm-ups at 6:45 PM and racing will get underway at 7 PM. Adult admission is $15 and children 12 and under will be admitted free to the grandstands.
