NAPA AUTO PARTS PRESENT. . . . . . . HOUSE OF THUNDER HALLOWEEN PARTY & GRANDVIEW THUNDER 5-25’S
FUN FOR ALL PLANNED FOR THUNDER ON THE HILL SEASON FINALE AT GRANDVEW SPEEDWAY SATURDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 19

The Grandview Thunder 5-25’s will close out the 24th season of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series at the Grandview Speedway on Saturday night, October 19.  Five division of racing will highlight the program and include the 358 Modifieds, URC Sprints, ARDC Midgets , Sportsman and Legend cars along with  the MONSTER SMASH Demolition Derby and Blast from the Past and Garden State Vintage car feature event.    The House of Thunder Halloween Party will also be part of the show with numerous tricks and treats throughout the night.  The R.M. Palmer Candy Company of West Reading has provide some great treats along with our friends at Low, Down & Dirty who have arranged  ten special treat baskets. There will be three basket awards to the top three Most Original Costume, the Scariest Costume and the Prettiest Costume.  A tenth basket will be awarded to the overall Track Choice.   Get creative, and lets all have fun at the annual House of Thunder Halloween Party on the Hill.   A few other surprises are being planned as well.

The gates to enter the House of Thunder will swing open at 4 PM with race time set for 6 PM.   Adult admission is $25 and children 6-11 are $10 with our little friends at age five and under will be admitted for free.  The pit fee is $30 with a license and $35 without a license.    More then 115 cars are expected to fill the pit area for this wild and popular features only program.

Race fans are invited to come out early and meet several race teams at the Low, Down and Dirty Meet & Greet.   Steve Sabo, Tammy Auman, Joey Adams and Whippy do a great job organizing some extra “thunder fun”.     The Meet and Greet will feature the ARDC Midget of Alex Bright, the Modified of Mike Laise, the URC sprint car of Billy Pauch Jr., the sportsman of Jason Neidlinger  and the URC sprint car of Keith Prutzman.   There will be free collector autograph photo cars to the first fifty fans.

And don’t forget, the modified drivers will do some trick or treats of their own with the Trick or Treat Revenge Redraw.    If a driver has a score to settle or a need to get even with a fellow competitor, the Revenge Redraw may just be the time to do it.   The Modifieds will be timed in warm-ups  then at intermission, the top ten drivers will take part in the Trick or Treat Redraw.   How does it work?  It’s this easy.   When the driver draws his number, he will be required to give it to any one of the other nine drivers.    One driver will give away the pole starting position as a treat, while one driver will receive the number 10 and be tricked.  It’s always a lot of fun as the drivers decide a strategy and who they will trick or treat.    Fans just love this very interactive activity that engages the drivers and fans alike.    Of course, the announcer sometimes gets  caught in the middle.
