Take Over Central PA Dirt Trackin’ Show in York from Larry
Miller
Newberrytown,
PA (July 23, 2013) – Ownership of the long standing and popular Central PA Dirt
Trackin’ show held every January in York has changed hands once again. Todd and Rhonda Fisher, owners of the
Susquehanna Speedway Park, have purchased the rights and assets of the
wintertime racecar show from Larry Miller of Mechanicsburg.
Miller is
taking a step back from the racing scene in a few aspects due to personal
reasons. Miller approached the Fishers
about taking over the management and ownership of the 2014 show and they
agreed.
“I
appreciated the opportunity to help bring the Dirt Trackin’ Show back to the
racers and race fans in 2013. I want to
thank all the vendors and racers who displayed their vehicles at the last year’s
show. I could not have done it without their support.” Miller said concerning
his involvement last year.
Miller
continued, “Also a big thank you to all of the seminar speakers which was a
great opportunity for racers and race fans also to obtain some valuable
information. It was a great opportunity
for me to work with a lot of great people.”
In
terms of the Fishers, Milled added, “I know they will do a fine job to carry on
this great show which is in its 31st year. They will have all of my support and
also my help if they want it.”
“Also
a big thank you to Dave Zortman for his endless hours of help making last years
show a success. Thanks to all who helped
me last year and best of luck to Todd and Rhonda for many successful years in
the future with a great racing show.” Miller concluded.
The
31st Annual Central PA Dirt Trackin’ Show at the York Expo Center
(Memorial Hall) will begin on Friday, January 24, 2014. The three-day show will conclude on Sunday,
January 26. The set-up day will be
Thursday, January 23. The York Expo Center is located at the York
Fairgrounds in York, Pennsylvania.
