JAY HARTMAN RIDES BACK
INTO BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY’S VICTORY LANE
Bridgeport, NJ (May 18, 2013) –
On the quarter mile track at
Bridgeport Speedway, Jay Hartman rode back
into victory lane after
winning the 600cc Micro-Sprint feature. Jon Keller
topped the field in
the 270cc Micro-Sprint main event and Scott Dunn picked
up another win
in the 4-Cylinder Enduro Car division.
In the 20-lap
600cc Micro-Sprint feature, Jay Hartman rode back into
victory lane after
gaining the lead on the seventeenth circuit.
Stephen Kemery set the pace
for the opening sixteen laps. Jay Hartman,
who began the feature in
fourteenth, had motored into the runner-up
position with eight tours to go.
Jay Hartman was able to track down
Kemery and gain the lead for his second
600cc Micro-Sprint victory of
the season. With the win, Jay Hartman becomes
the first repeat victor
in the class this year. Kemery finished in second
place. Nineteenth
place starting Jeff Hartman wound up in third. Fourth
went to Tim Iulg
and Luke Thomas ended the event in fifth. Bill Thomas,
Stephen Kemery,
and Steve Bracall captured the heat races. The consolation
race was
won by Jeff Hartman.
Jon Keller led from start to finish as
he won the 20-lap main event
for the 270cc Micro-Sprints. The runner-up
spot went to tenth place
starting Jay Hartman. Richie Keller completed the
race in third. Joe
Dopke and Tyler Reinhardt completed the top five. The
qualifying
events in the 270cc Micro-Sprint division were won by Jon Keller
and
Richie Keller.
After being involved in a third lap tangle with
Art Knapp, Scott Dunn
charged back to the front and won his fourth
consecutive 20-lap
feature for the 4-Cylinder Enduro Cars. Justin Dunn,
Warren Stradley,
Robbie Dunn, and Mike Dunn followed the victor across the
finish line
respectively.
Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and

a banked 5/8th mile
dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in
the center, and
