RISLONE URC SPRINT
SERIES
CHAD TROUT RETURNS TO
RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES FOR SECOND SEASON, URC OPENER SET FOR FRIDAY NIGHT,
APRIL 26
Chad Trout of Dover PA
will be returning to the Rislone URC Sprint Series in 2013, making this his
second season with the Nation’s oldest traveling sprint car organization. In
his first season of URC competition, Trout came close on several occasions to
scoring his first career URC win. Without a doubt, Trout wants to make his
way to the coveted URC winner’s circle this year. “Our goal for this year is
to score our first URC win”, commented Trout. At age thirty-four, Chad Trout
will start his sixteenth season of racing and has a very impressive resume, that
includes eleven 358 sprint wins at the Lincoln Speedway, 4 wins at the Williams
Grove Speedway and a single 358 sprint win at the Port Royal Speedway. All
three tracks are on the 2013 Rislone URC Sprint Series
schedule.
Trout returns to URC at
their season opener on Friday night, April 26 at the Big Diamond Speedway and
he will again sport his familiar #7c. His Rider Racing Engines will power
his
Maxim Chassis URC 360
sprint car. Chad is also the car owner and is joined by an attractive list of
sponsors that include: Sliders Racing
Photography, JIffy Lube (Mechanicsburg, Carlisle), Paddy's Seafood, Euro Motors,
Marlowe's Metal Fabricating, Diane's Tangles, Smith Auctioneers, Brickers French
Fries, John's RV and Trailer Center, Spring Valley Mulch, Nancy Wagman Beauty
Salon, L&R Auto Body and Yoe Truck Parts.
Favorite tracks on the
URC schedule for Chad Trout include Williams Grove, Delaware International and
the Port Royal Speedway. Although Trout is not a big fan of the URC Challenge
events, he would certainly like to win the Challenge race at Williams Grove, a
$4,000 to win event on Friday night, August 2nd. “I really enjoy
racing against the competitors of URC as the majority of racers are very
respectful on the track”, added Trout.
The competitors roster
for URC is shaping up to have some strong talent once again, to include
defending URC Champion Robbie Stillwaggon (3 Wins), driving the Fred Kennedy
owned sprint car. Other expected entries include Billy Pauch Jr., Josh Weller
(5 wins) , Dave Ely (13 wins), Kramer Williamson (67 wins), JJ Grasso (21
wins), Randy West (5 wins), Ed Aikin (8 wins), Keith Prutzman, Aaron Ott (2
wins), Kevin Darling (1 win), Joey Biasi (1win), Art Liedl (1 win), Andy Best (1
win), Tim Kelly and Dan Mazy just to name a few.
URC will open their
Rislone Sprint Series at the Big Diamond Speedway on Friday night, April 26
followed by a two race weekend on Friday night, May 10 at the Bedford Speedway
and the Jack Gunn Memorial paying $3,500 to win at the Selinsgrove Speedway on
Saturday night, May 11.
Delaware International
Speedway will host the URC sprint cars on Saturday night, May 18 for their first
of two stop in the state of Delaware. All regular shows for URC will pay
$2,000 to win the 25 lap feature.
