KAY CONQUERS THE COMPETITION AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Bridgeport, NJ (April 27, 2013) – On Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter
mile dirt oval, Joe Kay conquered the competition to win the 600cc
Micro-Sprint feature. Tyler Reinhardt repelled his foes as he captured
the 270cc Micro-Sprint main event. Scott Dunn was the victor in the
4-Cylinder Enduro Car race.

After starting in second place, Joe Kay led every circuit to win the
20-lap 600cc Micro-Sprint feature. In the first half of the contest,
Kay staved off his rivals on several restarts. Due to a long period of
green flag racing in the second half of the contest, Kay was slowed by
lap traffic in the final circuits with Richie Keller and Jay Hartman
charging closer to the leader. As the checkered flag waved, Kay was
able to claim his fourth career victory at Bridgeport. Jay Hartman
nipped Richie Keller to finish in second place. Lee Nardelli wound up
in fourth with Sam Locuson coming home in fifth. Ernie Miles, Joe Kay,
and Jon Keller were the 600cc Micro-Sprint heat race winners. The
consolation event was taken by Tim Iulg.

In the 20-lap main event for the 270cc Micro-Sprints, Tyler Reinhardt
survived a restart with two circuits left to capture the win. Derek
Krum led the opening tour before Reinhardt gained control for the
remaining laps. The runner-up spot went to veteran John Blanda. Justin
Stillwagon, Charlie Lamanna, and Joe Dopke completed the top five. The
qualifying events in the 270cc Micro-Sprint division were won by Joe
Dopke and Tyler Reinhardt.

Scott Dunn was the victor in the exciting 20-lap 4-Cylinder Enduro Car
race. John Gray paced the field for the opening two circuits. Todd
Francis sped past Gray on lap 3 and lost the top running spot to
Warren Stradley on the seventh revolution. Dunn motored past Stradley
with six tours to go. After losing the lead, Stradley remained very
close to Dunn. On lap 18, the cars of Dunn and Stradley were hooked
together briefly and Stradley’s night of racing ended as he collided
into the inside wall on the front stretch. Behind Dunn, the running
order to the finish line was Francis, Mike Dunn, Gray, and Art Knapp.

Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile
dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and
is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania
and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.
