OAKS, PA - Four Star Lettering & Design wrapped up a successful weekend at Motorsports 2013 Race Car & Trade Show Presented by Sunoco, Distributed by Insinger Performance last Friday-Sunday (Jan. 18-20) at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa.
"Once again, the Sammons family did an outstanding job promoting the show," said Four Star Lettering & Design's Brian Hirthler, who founded the company in 2001 as a full-time endeavor. "The number of people who walked through the Expo Center was a testament to their effort. Our booth was busy all weekend. We enjoyed catching up with current customers and talking to potential new ones."
Four Star Lettering's display at the show was anchored by the sharp No. 21k NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified driven at Grandview (Pa.) Speedway by Kyle Weiss, a longtime Four Star customer. Weiss' car was voted by show management as the Best Appearing Stock Car, for which he was recognized on Sunday.
The booth featured a 'wrap' theme: from the wrapped floor to 'Wrap It' apparel to promote Four Star Lettering & Design's new wrap offerings for cars, race cars and trailers.
Kevin Hirthler, the older brother of Four Star's Brian, displayed his Pioneer Pole Buildings No. 117 358-Modified on center stage.
Other Four Star customers at the show included BD Motorsports Media/Friesen-Deyo Promotions (voted Best Speedway or Club Display), Craig Von Dohren's No. 1c SpeedSTR, Duane Howard's Glenn Hyneman-owned Keystone Racing No. 126, Danny Leaper's Quarter-Midget and Micro-Sprint and new customers Neal Williams' Fred Vahlsing-owned No. 323OV New Egypt (N.J.) Speedway 358-Modified and Jarrett Davenport's Slingshot.
Kaylia Cassandra served as Ms. Four Star 2013, signing autographs in the
booth and representing Four Star Lettering in the Ms. Motorsports competition.
"It's a big undertaking to set up the display during our busiest time of the year every January," Hirthler said. "I wouldn't have been able to do it without my brother Kevin for helping with the booth and Kurt Spotts for all the work he did leading up to and during the show."
