RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES
BFP SPECIALTY & SNOOKIES TO SELL URC AMERICAN RACER TIRES IN 2012
URC race teams will have at least two locations to purchase their URC American Racer tires in 2012. BFP Specialty & Snookies Speed Parts will both distribute URC sprint car tires this season.
BFP, located in Bethel, PA will be a distributor and they do plan to be on hand at more then a dozen events. Along with selling the official URC American Racer Tire, the BFP Specialty Truck will also offer tear offs, racers tape and brake clean as well as other items race teams may need throughout the year. Tires may also be purchased at BFP during the week and tires will ship from the BFP location as well. BFP is open Monday through Thursday 7 AM to 7 PM, Friday 7 AM to 2 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM. Snookies Speed Parts located in Milton, DE will also distributed the URC American Racer Tires and will have tires at the track when URC is racing in Delaware. Snookies Speed Parts in a family owned and operated business that has been servicing the local racing community for over 35 years. Snookies operating hours are Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM. Tires may also be purchased at Snookies by calling 302-684-8466.
Opening day for the Rislone URC Sprint Series is fast approaching and the Nation's Oldest Traveling Sprint Car Organization is energized with excitement for the coming season. Opening day is set for Saturday, April 28 at the Delaware International Speedway and will mark the first of three URC events at Charlie Cathell's Delaware International Speedway.
Drivers already indicating they will be in the opening day field include championship title contenders Ed Aikin, Kramer Williamson, Robbie Stillwaggon, Randy West, Andy Best, Art Liedl, Joey Biasi, Chad Trout, Kevin Darling, Jonathan Swanson, Mark Bitner and Tim Hogue. The opening day roster could include Davey Franek, Ryan Bohlke, Jason Clauss, Jimmy Stitzel, Kyle Purks, Chris Weiss and Denny Garl.
URC's rookie driver list also includes Dan Mazy from Alburtis, PA, Chris Glandan of Frederica, DE, Steven Downs from Georgetown, DE and Ryan Kissinger.
