RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES
RAIN IS COMING TO DELAWARE, RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES OPENER
NOW SET FOR BLACK ROCK SPEEDWAY FRIDAY, MAY 4
The forecast of rain, with the clouds already moving towards
the state of Delaware, has forced the cancellation of the 65th Season
Opener for the Rislone URC Sprint Series. We obviously don’t like rain outs,
but when the forecast is as certain as it is, we do appreciate the early
cancellation by Delaware International Speedway Promoter Charlie Cathell.
URC, continues to look out for their valued owners and drivers and quickly
communicated to competitors the new of the opening day cancellation. At this
time, Speedway Management and URC Owners are discussing an alternative date to
make up the show.
For the United Racing Company, now celebrating their
sixty-fifth season, the opener will shift to the Black Rock Speedway in Dundee,
NY next Friday night, May 4. The URC and Patriot Sprint Group will unite for
this always exciting co-sanctioned Challenge Race. If you have never seen
sprint cars at the well prepared Black Rock Speedway, you must plan to attend on
Friday night, May 4.
The best talent of the Patriot Sprints will go up against the
star-filled URC roster to include Ed Aikin, Josh Weller, Kramer Williamson,
Robbie Stillwaggon, Randy West, Joey Biasi, Art Liedl and Tim Hogue just to name
a few.
