BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 26, 2012 . . . A huge night of stock car racing is set for Saturday (April 28th) at Grandview Speedway with five feature events being presented along with a full card of qualifying events all set to start at 7 p.m.
The popular NASCAR 358 Modifieds will run two 30-lap feature races; the new Sportsman stock cars will be featured in two 25-lap main events and the exciting Late Model stocks will run in a 20-lap feature.
Rain last Saturday created the five feature program when the wet stuff forced the postponement of the scheduled Modified and Sportsman feature races after all qualifying events had been completed and Mike Kellner had won the 20-lap Late Model feature worth $1,000. The two rained out features have now been added to this Saturday’s regular card of events.
The multi feature program will have quite an impact on the point’s race for the Modifieds and Sportsman.
Fans are reminded to bring their FM radios and tune into the call of the races on 89.9 FM. The new sound system is still in work in progress.
Adult admission is just $15 for this big night of NASCAR stock car racing entertainment while youngsters 12 and under will be admitted FREE.
And on Sunday the first NEETS Enduro events of the season will be presented starting at 1 p.m. There will be a 150 lapper for big cars, 150 laps for the small cars and a 25-lapper for ladies. The Blast from the Past Vintage cars will make up the second part of the show. Admission for the Sunday, April 29th, show is just $10.
Starting on Saturday, May 5th racing action will start at 7:30 p.m. for the Mobil 1 sponsored night and that starting time will be in place until the BPG Racing Freedom 76 is presented on September 15th.
Grandview Speedway is located on Passmore Road, just off Route 100, in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown. For information telephone 610.754.7688 or check in at www.grandviewspeedway.com.
