UNFAVORABLE FORECAST CANCELS RACING AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Swedesboro, NJ (April 28, 2012) - With a high percentage of wet
weather in the forecast during the anticipated time of racing,
Bridgeport Speedway cancelled the race program scheduled for Saturday,
April 28.

Due to the cancellation, some adjustments have been made to the
schedule. Saturday night racing on the 5/8th mile dirt oval resumes on
May 5 with Nostalgia Night. The make-up feature for the Outlaw Stock
Cars from April 21 has been added to the regularly scheduled card of
events for the Big Block Modifieds, Crate Sportsmen, and Outlaw Stock
Cars. As the new start time of 7:00 p.m. begins this week, the pit
gates will unlock at 4:00 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 5:00
p.m. Hot laps get underway at 6:30 p.m. Grandstand admission is $20
for Adults and $18 for Seniors (65 and over) and $15 for Students (with proper
identification). Fans wearing a nostalgic racing sweater or shirt will
receive $2.00 off grandstand admission and this offer cannot be
combined with any coupons. Kids 12 and under are admitted for free.
Hand one of the Poker Series for Crate Sportsmen with $700 going to
the victor will now take place on Saturday, May 12.

The next edition of Fast and Furious Friday Night racing on the
quarter mile occurs on May 4. Micro-Sprints (270cc and 600cc) and
4-Cylinder Enduro Cars are on the docket. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m.
with the first qualifying event starting at 7:00 p.m. Grandstand
admission for adults is $10 and no charge for kids 12 and under. Fans
purchasing their $20 Saturday night grandstand tickets on Friday will
receive admission to both nights of racing on the same weekend.
