TRIPLE 50 FEATURES AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY SATURDAY
NASCAR 358 MODS RACE FOR $4,000 PLUS
BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 8, 2012 . . . With the first racing events in the
books all attention turns to the 50th Anniversary Special at Grandview
Speedway.
Triple features will be the attraction for fans as racers in all three divisions (NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman) each battle in 50-lap feature races on Saturday, April 14 at 7 p.m.
The NASCAR 358 Modifieds will have $4,000 going to the winner while the Sportsman and Late Models will each race for $1,500 to win.
In addition there is extra cash for winners that carry the T.P. Trailers decals on each side of their car in a clearly visible location. The Modified winner gets a $250 bonus while the Sportsman and Late Model winner receive an extra $100 as long as they follow the rules for the cash.
Each division will race in a series of qualifying events with the top performers making the cut and qualifying for the 50-lap feature races. No driver can compete in more than one division.
Adult admission for the event is $25 while youngsters 12 and under pay just $5. And there is always FREE parking on the speedway grounds.
Coming up for the next two Saturdays will be tripleheader shows that offer NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman. The April 21st and April 28th shows will have a 7 p.m. starting time with adults paying just $15 with youngsters 12 and under admitted FREE.
New this year is the Sunday Small Car Series which kicks off on Sunday, April 22nd at 2 p.m. The show will feature racing for 270 and 600 Micros, Slingshots and 600 Modifieds. Admission for adults is just $5.
And the NEETS Enduro racers return to action on Sunday, April 29th after having their March 31st show rained out. The Enduro events feature racing for the big cars and small cars plus the ladies. An added attraction is the appearance of the Blast from the Past Vintage Cars.
Grandview Speedway continues their 50th Anniversary celebration throughout the 2012 season. The one-third-mile, banked clay track is located on Passmore Road, just off Route 100, in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
