2003 NASCAR SPRINT CUP CHAMPION MATT KENSETH TO TALK WITH FANS AT SIGN AUTOGRAPHS AT MOTORSPORTS 2012 RACE CAR AND TRADE SHOW
OAKS, PA December 30, 2011 . . . If you like the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase you will want to thank Matt Kenseth. If you do not like the Chase system for deciding the NASCAR Cup title then you may only wish to ask him his thoughts on the Chase or talk about his plans for 2012 Cup season.
The veteran Cup racer will be part of the Motorsports 2012 Presented by SEF Small Engine Fuels Race Car and Trade Show set for January 20-22, 2012 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.
Kenseth ran away with the NASCAR Sprint Cup title in 2003 and is given credit by many as the reason NASCAR went to the Chase format to decide the champion since then.
The veteran Roush Fenway Ford No. 17 driver is coming off a fourth place finish in the chase for the title. He was able to win three Cup races in 2011 including Charlotte’s Bank of America 500. His 21 career Cup victories include a win in the 2009 Daytona 500.
The 28th annual edition of the show will fill all of the more than 225,000 square feet of show space available at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center with more than 600 vendor booths open for business and more than 250 race vehicles on display.
Kenseth will do a one-on-one with show attendees from 3:40 to 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, January 21st and may even be willing to talk about his heated dispute with Brian Vickers which continued through most of the season. Under tops of discussion could be his wife’s injury in a celebrity Bandolero race and his son Ross’ career in the sport. Kenseth was an outstanding short track racer back in his home state of Wisconsin and he is always willing to talk about short track racing.
The popular Cup racer will do an autograph session from 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. following his one-on-one session.
Kenseth will be one of many well known names in motorsports that will be appearing during the three day show. Five time NASCAR Sprint Cup championship winning crew chief Chad Knaus will appear along with four time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday, former NASCAR standout and now a SPEED TV personality Jimmy Spencer, legendary sprint car racers Doug Wolfgang and Brad Doty, SPEED broadcaster John Roberts, author and broadcaster Dave Argabright and others.
Many top name local and regional racing talents will also be part of the show.
A very limited amount of display space is still available. For information to be an exhibitor in the show please contact Tim Hogue at 609.888.3618.
The growing schedule of events for the show continues to change and the complete up-to-date schedule can be found at www.aarn.com.
On that very same website directions to the show can be found along with ticket prices, information on exhibiting, show hours and more.
The three day show is considered the largest and most successful show of its type on the East Coast.
Show information is also available at 609.888.3618.
