Big Diamond Speedway To Honor 2011 Track Champions At Awards Banquet Friday, November 11 As $25,000 Point Fund To Be Distributed
MINERSVILLE, PA - Big Diamond Speedway 2011 track champions will be recognized officially at the speedway's official Awards Banquet in November.
The top point-earners over the 2011 season at the Schuylkill County clay oval will congregate on Friday, Nov. 11 at The Pottsville Zone, 338 Peacock Street, in Pottsville, Pa. (just eight miles from the speedway). Tickets for the Awards Banquet are on sale now. The form has been posted on the front page of the Big Diamond Speedway website: www.bigdiamondspeedway.net. A $25,000 point fund will be distributed at the awards ceremony.
2011 Big Diamond champions were Jeff Strunk (The Station House 358-Modified), Steven Hughes (U.S.S. Achey Sportsman), Ryan Olenick (Wooden Keg Tavern Roadrunner), Mike Reichert (6/8 Cylinder Enduro), and Chris Holland (4-Cylinder Enduro).
Tickets are $40 per person and include a full dinner of halupkies, roast beef and gravy, roast turkey and gravy, filling, mashed potatoes, corn, cole slaw and rolls. Bottomless pitchers of Yuengling, Coors Light, Captain and Coke and Bahama Breeze are included with the ticket price.
Entertainment will be provided by "T.J. the D.J." T.J. Fitzpatrick.
To order tickets online, download and complete the ticket order form off the Big Diamond website and mail with a check to Big Diamond Speedway at 50 Big Diamond Road, Box 524, Minersville, PA 17954. Drivers must be present to collect their share of the point fund money.
