RISLONE SPRINT NATIONALS

$5,000 TO WIN RISLONE URC SPRINT NATIONALS FRIDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 5TH AT WILLIAMS GROVE

A hefty $5,000 first place prize will be up for grabs as some of the best sprint car drivers in the country gather Friday night, August 5 for the 6th Annual Rislone URC 360 Sprint Nationals at the Williams Grove Speedway. This event is without a doubt, the richest single night payoff of the season for the URC 360 sprints. Not only are the drivers shooting for the $5,000 winner's share, the 25 lap event will pay $1,000 for tenth and $325 just to take the green flag. Race time is set for 7 PM at the historic Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Past winners of this prestigious event include Daryn Pittman in 2010, Aaron Ott in 2009, Kenny Adams in 2008, Ed Aikin in 2008 and Pat Cannon won the very first Rislone Sprint Nationals. Ironically, the competition is so keen that no driver has been able to win this event twice.

Drivers chasing this lucrative triumph include JJ Grasso a three time winner this year along with Randy West who has a pair of wins. Curt Michael, Kramer Williamson, Robbie Stillwaggon, Dave Ely, Josh Weller and Andy Best will be looking for their first Rislone win as will Mark Smith, Blane Heimbach and others.

Special thanks to Rislone for making this event as big as it is. The involvement of Rislone has also offset the need for a pre-entry fee for the competitors. Along with the popular 360 sprints, the 358 sprints are also invited to compete in the 6th Annual Rislone Nationals.

All the details for this event are located on the URC website at www.urcsprints.com. Please go to the Competitors Page and click on 2011 National Sprint Payoff for all the details to include car specifications, tire rule, handicapping and the complete payoff.

The following night, Saturday, April 6th, the Rislone URC Sprint Series will head t "the big track", Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, NJ. Without a doubt, Bridgeport Speedway is the biggest and possibly the fastest track on the URC tour. This is super URC weekend of money, speed and media.
