BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY NEWS - THE JAM IN JERSEY - ADMISSION JUST $20 ON TUESDAY JULY, 19

ADMISSION IS JUST $20 FOR THE JAM IN JERSEY AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY ON
TUESDAY, JULY 19

BRIDGEPORT, NJ (July 17, 2011) – As the pre-entry driver list
continues to grow and the excitement builds for the Jam in Jersey race
at Bridgeport Speedway on Tuesday, July 19, race fans will be able to
see two 25-lap Big Block Modified features and a 25-lap Bridgeport
Modified main for just $20 general admission.

Nearly thirty of the top Big Block Modified drivers in the area have
pre-registered for a chance to walk away with a cool $6500. At this
Tuesday’s race, two 25-lap Big Block Modified features will take place
including the $3000 to win George Wingate Classic race which was
rained out on June 16. The field for the George Wingate Big Block
Modified contest will be enhanced as the top four non-qualified
finishers in the first 25-lap Big Block Modified feature will be added
to the George Wingate Classic contest. If a driver can win both Big
Block Modified events on this night and is pre-entered, he will walk
away from Bridgeport Speedway with $6500 which includes a $1000 double
feature winner bonus. To be eligible for the extra money, Big Block
Modified drivers simply need to contact the promotions department at
mike@bpspeedway.com or 302-875-4196 to pre-enter the race for free by
Sunday, July 17.

Also, the Bridgeport Modifieds will be on the docket with a complete
show that will include qualifying races and a 25-lap feature. The
winner of the Bridgeport Modified feature event will take home $1,200
if the number of entries in the Bridgeport Modified class exceeds
thirty. If the car count in the Bridgeport Modified class is thirty or
under, the victor will receive $1,000. The $2500 to win Bridgeport
Modified feature postponed on June 16 will be held on Thursday, August
18 as part of the mid-week special show to include the Super Late
Models.

For the Jam in Jersey race, any track stamped American Racer tires
that conform to the current Bridgeport Speedway permitted compounds
are eligible to be used. Unaltered GM 602 engines, 604 engines with a
Bridgeport Speedway supplied restrictor plate and 347JR Ford motors
with a Bridgeport Speedway supplied restrictor plate will be allowed
to compete in the Bridgeport Modified race. A racer can compete in
both divisions by registering a second car for $150. Additional rules
