This could very well be the "must see" event of 2011.

After twenty-five years, the modifieds will be returning to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA. Joining the modifieds will be the popular 358/360 sprints loaded with the heavy hitter talent of the open cockpit sprints. It's "The Battle At Lincoln" and it all takes place on Tuesday night, July 12. Gates will open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM. A rain date of Wednesday night, July 13 will be planned. Strong sponsorship support from NAPA Auto Parts, Pioneer Pole Buildings and MACH 1 Chassis will find their banners and signs proudly displayed at this big event.

"The Battle At Lincoln" will be exactly that as the modifieds battle in the PPB 60 lap feature paying $5,000 to the winner. The MACH 1 Sprints will chase a winner's share of $3,000 plus a $500 bonus to the highest finishing MACH 1 Chassis.

A series of qualifying events will take place for both divisions to determine the starting line-up for the 60 Lap Race of Champions Modified feature and the 25 lap MACH 1 Sprint feature.

Hold on to your seat, this night could get real wild when all this talent hits the red clay oval in the pigeon hills.

Expected modified entries include Race of Champions point leader Billy Decker, Jeff Strunk, Stewart Friesen, Duane Howard, Craig VonDohren, Bobby Varin, Danny Johnson, Kevin Bates, Pat Ward, Mike Gular, Larry Wight, Kevin Hirthler, Ryan Phelps, Rick Laubach, Jimmy Horton, Billy Pauch, Doug Manmiller and Richie Pratt. The roster for the MACH 1 358/360 Sprint Challenge is equally impressive to include Daryn Pittman, Mark Smith, Aaron Ott, Brian Montieth, Billy Dietrich, Pat Cannon, Blane Heimbach, Cory Haas, Keith Prutzman, Dave Ely, Niki Young, Adrian Shaffer and Kramer Williamson just to name a few.

The BFP Specialty ROC & ROLL the Dice Challenge will work this way. Drivers will pay a $100 fee to participate. 100% of all money collected by BFP Specialty will be paid back to the winning driver. For example, the 60 lap modified feature is already paying $5,000 to the winner. If ten drivers participate in the BFP Specialty ROC & ROLL the Dice Challenge, and additional $1,000 will go to the winner. If twenty drivers participate, the main event will pay $7,000. In addition, every driver that enters the Challenge will receive a $25 certificate for BFP Specialty that may be used towards any purchase of $200 or more.

The BFP Specialty bonus will be paid out in victory to the winner of the 60 lap modified feature event. Drivers may send their BFP ROC & ROLL the Dice entry fee to:

BFP Specialty's LLC

Lincoln Speedway is a very popular and "fan friendly" track in the tri-state area, offering great unobstructed viewing from every seat in the grandstands. The infield is open for watching the races by entering through the fourth turn tunnel. The pits are asphalt, with a slight elevation and great lighting a so fans can watch all the pit action as well. The three-eighth mile Lincoln Speedway offers it all, the high speeds that you would see at the "big tracks" with the flair and excitement of the short track "bull rings". At Lincoln Speedway, you'll have it all.
