22ND THUNDER SEASON OPENER SET FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 25 WITH 410 SPRINTS & MODIFIEDS TO KICKOFF BUSY SEASON

 

In less then two weeks, the powerful 410 sprint cars will invade the "hill" to open the 22nd season of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series.   The top names in sprint car racing will battle it out when the Keystone Cup Sprint Series presents the opening race paying $5,000 to the winner of the thirty-five lap feature event.  Greg Hodnett, Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease,  Mark Smith, Daryn Pittman and two time winner in 2010, Tyler Walker will headline the cast of stars.   Joining the 410 sprints will be the 358 modifieds taking part in a series of qualifying events all leading up to the $2,500 to win twenty-five lap feature event.   The modified portion of the show is open to all competitors.  Race time is 7:30 PM with gates opening at 5 PM. 

 

General admission for this event is just $20, children 6-11 are $5 and the pit fee is $25 and a license is not required.

Thunder on the Hill is quickly approaching their 100th event, to take place on Tuesday night, June 28 when the 410 sprints and 358 modifieds  team up for another popular doubleheader event.
