I alway's enjoyed watching this car and driver run when i went to flemington. Shammy shine was not only Jr Crouse's sponsor, but also a sponsor of many major event's held at the venerable speedway known as "modified country" I really miss the place an awfull lot, and feel very fortunate to have attended many shows there during the dirt era. A sad thing it all has come to an end, who would of thought?

Smooth as glass
Was there ever a track as smooth as flemington was? Here is Fritz Epright smoking the right rear on the fast track back in 89' driving the famous trenton mack #74 car.

Just Great!
It sure was great growing up around racing, and watching modified guy's like Jimmy Horton, Dave Kelly and Glenn Fitzcharles amoung other's, beating up on the tough central PA sprint guy's. That always made you feel a little more proud in a way when they did win, atleast for me.. If i did'nt know any better i would say that is me standing behind the sprintcar in the flannel shirt. @ 1982

A long time ago
In a place not too far away..We had ground pounder's like this. Minimal sheet metal. big drag tire's and open header's. Real fire breather's that shook you while sitting in the stands, watching them rip and roar into the night.

Holding On For All It's Worth
That's what you had to do on the big square at flemington. I'm sure alot of folk's remember this racer, and his alway's sharp looking equipment.
