Hoffman Speed Supplies Named Tire & Parts Vendor for Big Diamond Speedway 2011 Season; Three-Time Champ Keith Hoffman Returns To 358-Modified Wars



MINERSVILLE, PA - Hoffman Speed Supplies of New Tripoli, Pa., has been named the official tire and parts supplier for the 2011 season at Big Diamond Speedway.



Hoffman Speed proprietor Keith Hoffman firmed the deal with Big Diamond management to return as the authorized American Racer vendor at the Coal Region oval. Hoffman Speed will sell the tires for the 358-Modifieds, Sportsman and Roadrunners which will be weekly divisions at the speedway.



Hoffman Speed will provide the parts trailer in the pit area for all 2011 events held at Big Diamond. Hoffman Speed previously offered parts and tire service at Big D from 1985-2005.



Fans of Big Diamond will welcome the return of Keith Hoffman, a 35-time Big D winner, to the weekly 358-Modified wars for the '11 season. The Whitehall, Pa., driver owns three track championships at Diamond (2000-2002) and won the prestigious Coalcracker 100 during the '03 season. Hoffman, who is anxious to return to the tough Big D small-block wars, is still in the early stages of his plans.



"We are looking forward to serving the Big Diamond racers this season," Hoffman said. "There has never been a shortage of good cars at Big Diamond and this year should be no different. I'm excited to be a part of it with my business and as a racer."

Big Diamond Speedway opens its season Sunday, April 3 at 5 p.m. with a 35-lap 358-Modified feature paying $3,000 to the winner plus Sportsman and Roadrunners. An open practice is set for March 27.
