Saturday, August 14, 7:30 p.m. Forrest Rogers Memorial $10,000 to Win for NASCAR 358 Modifieds plus Late Models.

Wednesday, August 18, 7:30 p.m. Thunder on the Hill Series featuring the World of Outlaws Late Models and 358 Modified stock cars.

Saturday, August 21, 7:30 p.m. NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models. If the Forrest Rogers Memorial is rained out on August 14th, this will be used as the rain date.

Saturday, August 28, 7:30 p.m. RCN TV NIGHT featuring the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models.

Saturday, September 4, 7:30 p.m. NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sidewinders.

NASCAR 358 MODIFIEDS, LATE MODELS AND ALEX’S LEMONADE STAND HEADLINE MAVERICK’S MOTORCYCLE CLUB NIGHT



BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 4, 2010 . . . The NASCAR 358 Modified stock cars are back in action on Saturday night (August 7th) at Grandview Speedway along with the Late Model stock cars. The doubleheader program gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m. and will be sponsored by the Maverick’s Motorcycle Club.

Unique for this event will be the addition of the Alex’s Lemonade Stand in operation raising funds for the cancer charity.

Attention of race fans will be centered on the continuing battle for wins going on between NASCAR 358 Modified point leader Duane Howard and Craig VonDohren currently third in the standings. Howard has three wins this season while VonDohren has managed to visit victory lane seven times in the Saturday night 358 Modified action. Toss in Jeff Strunk, the eight time track champion, who is second in the point chase and is still looking for that elusive first win and you have the makings of quite a battle.

Of course Mike Gular, Ryan Godown, Danny Erb, Jon Kellner Sr., Jason Hamilton and a host of others will be looking to pick up the $2,200 first place offering.

In the Late Models Chuck Schutz will be looking to add another win to his string of victories along with Mike Kellner, Brian Shuey, Randy Stoudt, Randall Paxton and others.

A full series of qualifying events in both divisions will lead up to a 30-lapper for NASCAR Modifieds and a 20-lapper for Late Models.

The 358 Modifieds will be using the Saturday night events as a tune-up for the $10,000 to win Forrest Rogers Memorial coming up on Saturday, August 14th. The 50-lapper for 358 Modifieds will definitely attract a large field of racers. And the Late Models will be part of that show.

Adults will pay just $20 admission for the August 14th show while the youngsters will pay just $5 (6 thru 11) while those under 6 are admitted FREE.
