VARIETY IS BIG PART OF MAY AUTO RACING SCHEDULE AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY



BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 22, 2010 . . . Fans coming out to see the seven dates of auto racing scheduled at Grandview Speedway during the month of May will get to see a variety of different types of racing.

The NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modifieds and Late Model stock cars will be the regular attraction on five Saturday nights throughout the month kicking off with Saturday, May 1st when the Sidewinder Sprints will make it a tripleheader show. Racing will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and that will be the starting time for Saturday night events up to the running of the BPG Racing Freedom 76 Classic on September 18th.

The second of eight NEETS Enduro events is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9th. The SpeedSTRs will be added to the Mother’s Day show.

American Racing Drivers Club Wingless Midgets, always a popular attraction at the Berks County clay oval, will be part of a scheduled four division show on Saturday, May 15th. In addition to the Midgets, the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and SpeedSTRs will be part of that big night.

The first Thunder On The Hill Racing Series midweek special is set for Wednesday, May 26th when the Keystone Cup Speed Week Series 410 Sprints will be in action along with Sportsman stock cars. Racing will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m.

Admission for the Saturday night regular events at Grandview runs $13 for adults, $5 for youngsters 6 thru 11 and under 6 are admitted FREE. There is always free parking on the grounds of the speedway.
