News From Big Diamond Fan Page Awards

Big Diamond Fan Page presents…







The 2010 Big Diamond Fan Page Awards. Since there was a lot of positive feedback from last year’s awards, we would like to continue it this year. In hopes of making this a huge success, much help will be needed from the racing community. The more money we raise, the more we can give back!







The Awards will be presented at Big Diamond Raceway on Friday, August 27, 2010. It is a chance for the fans to give back to their local track, drivers, race teams and support charities tied to the sport. All regular Big Diamond divisions will be honored – 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Roadrunners, 6/8 Cylinder Enduro, 4 Cylinder Enduro and Ladies Enduro. Some of the charities we would like to support include, Chad Miller Memorial, Checkered Flag Fan Club and Wounded Warrior Project.







We would also like to continue what we started last year by helping a local driver who supported the local racing scene, Butch Cerullo. Butch, currently 43 years old, raced a modified at local tracks (Big Diamond, Penn National and Susquehanna to name a few). Butch continues to endure an on-going fight with brain cancer.







Our goal this year is to raise $5000. This can not be done without your help. All information will be posted on the Big Diamond Fan Page (http://www.bigdiamondfanpage.com/ ) and Message Board. Here is a list of events we have started planning:



· Pre-Race Festivities at Big Diamond Raceway for Sunday, May 30th. Big Diamond Fan Page will be teaming up with Big Diamond Raceway and Dreher Motorsports (Wounded Warrior Project) to provide you lots of entertainment and fun.



· Memorial Program. Programs will go on sale May 30th. If you would like to remember someone, honor someone, advertise or be a part of the program in any way, please use the contact information below.



· Basket Bingo. Ladies, come out and enjoy a relaxing afternoon, have lots of laughs and hopefully win prizes! Event details are in the early stages, so please check website for updates.







Drivers, Fans, Crew/Race Families, Business Owners and anyone who would like to be involved, please contact us. There will be many advertisement options for your team or business.







Monetary contributions can also be made through PayPal. Any contribution will be accepted, large or small. All amounts will be undisclosed, but recognized if desired.
