RYAN WATT TOPS THE NASCAR T.P.TRAILERS 358 MODIFIED FEATURE WHILE DANNY SNYDER WINS IN LATE MODELS AND BRAD GRIM TAKES SPORTSMAN MAIN EVENT AT GRANDVIEW SATURDAY
VINTAGE FEATURES WON BY BRETT PETERS AND RICKY RUTT
BECHTELSVILLE, PA APRIL 21, 2018. . . Veteran dirt track talent Ryan Watt was able to grab the lead early and ride to victory in the 30-lap feature race for the NASCAR T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night. Brad Grim was tops in the 25-lap Sportsman feature race. Danny Snyder returned to action at Grandview as a regular for the first time in a few years and won the Late Model feature race.
Two Blast from the Past Vintage features were won by Brett Peters and Ricky Rutt.
Finishing second to Watt was five time track champion Duane Howard with Frank Cozze making a strong run in the closing laps to take third. Mike Gular earned a fourth place finish while defending champion Craig VonDohren came home in fifth place.
Jim Housworth came home second in the Sportsman feature race followed by Brightbill, B.Hirthler and Reimert.
Past champion Brian Shuey was able to gain a strong second place finish in the Late Model feature while Kyle Merkel finished third. Drew Weisser and Jordan Knepp rounded out the top five.
Closing out the month of April racing action at Grandview Speedway will be a tripleheader show of NASCAR stock car racing on Saturday, April 28th featuring the T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds, Sportsman and Late Model stock cars. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the first of a series of qualifying races starting at 7p.m. Adult admission is $15 while youngsters under 12 are admitted for FREE.
