Albert, Fayash, Somer and Wink earn victories Friday Evening at Big Diamond Speedway.

Minersville, PA July 31, 2015 The Lias Tire 358 Modified division were ready for action Friday evening. Heath Metzler would start on the pole along side of Scott Albert and Albert was ready to go after his first win of the season and quickly jumped out to the top spot. Justin Grim would be hot on his heals trying his best to get into the lead position, but on lap 6 he pulled off suddenly when the transmission failed. That relinquished the runner up spot to Colt Harris who was feeling the pressure from Kyle Follweiler and Kevin Beach. Top top four would do all they could to shuffle around their spots, but no one was willing to give up their valuable track position. Duane Howard was trying to advance hi his 5th place spot, and was bringing along Rick Laubach. At the checkers it would be Scott Albert taking home the win and all the glory that goes along with it, followed by Colt Harris, Kyle Follweiler, Kevin Beach Jr and Duane Howard. The GME Hard Charger for this event would be Billy Pauch Jr. for going from 16th to 8th for a gain of 8 spots.

The TSRS 305 Sprit Cars made their first visit to the track and brought out a strong field of racers that were all ready for their chance to celebrate in Victory Lane. Samantha Lieberman and Tyler Reeser would lead the field to the green flag and Reeser would take the early race lead. Lieberman would fall behind in the runner up spot, but on the second lap, she had some trouble in turn 2 that would end her night early. On the restart it would be Reeser followed by Stephanie Stevens Dodson looking for her chance to take over the lead. Reese would have the advantage but Dodson was not giving up and tried to find the best line around the track in order to keep Reeser in her sights. Joe Kata was able to pass Dodson for the runner up spot on lap 12 and he then set his sights on the leader. The caution would fly again on lap 16, setting up a 4 lap shootout to the finish. Reese would pull away and leave Kato and Dodson behind him to battle it out. When the checker flag flew it was Tyler Reeser taking home the victory followed by Joe Kata, Stephanie Stevens Dodson, Mike Haggenbottom and Adam Carberry. Bill Jones Jr, Tim Tanner Jr. and Joe Kata were the heat winners.

The Savage 61 Roadrunners would be brought to the green flag by Jim Kost and Jesse Krasnitsky. Krasnitsky would be able to take over the lead position and would be followed by Shon Elk. Eleven Brennan and TJ Fitzpatrick were hot on the trail of the top two cars and were bringing along Chris Reichert as they worked their way to the front of the field. Reiterate would find himself in the runner up spot by lap 14 and was chasing down the leader. Elk and Reichert would run into some issues on lap 17 when Reichert’s car looked like it didn’t want to turn coming off of turn 4 and Elk and him tangled, coming down the front stretch. Elk would be able to continue, but Reichert would retire his car for the evening. On the restart it would be Krasnitsky followed by TJ Fitzpatrick, Kost and Chuck Fayash. Fayash would take over the leader’s position and hold off the challenges of Kost at the line in order to gain the win. Kost would finish second followed by Krasnitsky, TJ Fitzpatrick and Terry Kramer Jr. The heats were won by Shon Elk and Jesse Krasnitsky. The Red White and Blue Autos Hard Luck award went to Brian Buchinski who had some struggles through out the evening and was unable to finish the feature event.

Somer would quickly take over the top spot, followed by Rich Bossinger. Series dominating racer, Jasen Geesaman had some trouble during the feature event and pulled off on the third lap and was unable to continue. The heat was won by Jasen Geesaman.
