TWO BIG ACTION PACKED NIGHTS OF AUTO RACING AT GRANDVIEW LABOR DAY WEEKEND
      School age kids have chance to receive school supply prizes at Bernheisel Night on Saturday
BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 27, 2014 . . . Just two point events remain on the auto racing schedule at Grandview Speedway. That means the competition will be even tougher this Saturday night as racers try to gain valuable points to gain positions in the chase for the final lucrative NASCAR point standings.
                The 30-lap feature for the BRC Late Models plus racing for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Sportsman stock cars has been set for Saturday, 7:30 p.m. The Late Models will be featured in a special event that gives all the racers, sporting BRC decals on both sides of their race cars, the opportunity to pick up a share of the more than $5,000 worth of racing products being made available by Bernheisel Racing Components.
                 At present Jeff Strunk is on top in the NASCAR 358 Modifieds shooting for his 10th title. Randy Stoudt tops the Late Models and Jared Umbenhauer is shooting for his third straight Sportsman championship. All three point leaders have challengers and could lose out on their championship bids before the season ends.
                Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet taking place at the main gate and featuring Kory Fleming, Dan Green and Sean Merkel. Racing gets the green at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $15 while youngsters 12 and under are admitted free.
                School age kids will have a chance to win school supplies and a number of backpacks on Saturday night. In fact the number of giveaways has been increased since the rained out events of last Saturday.
                The very next night, Sunday, the final Open Wheel Spectacular of the season is set for a 7:30 p.m. starting time featuring the top talents of the Hilborn TSRS Winged Sprints and ARDC Wingless Midgets. Both divisions top off their shows with exciting, action-packed 25-lap feature races. A full series of qualifying events is presented leading up to each feature race. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. Adult admission is $15 while youngsters 6 through 12 pay just $5 and kids under 6 are admitted free.
                A 5 p.m. Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet featuring midget and sprint racers is in place for fans to have a chance to meet top racing talents and get close to the race cars they manhandle around the one-third-mile, banked clay oval.
                Coming up on Saturday, September 6th is the Green Lane Wm. <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">                Advance tickets are on sale for the Saturday, September 13th $25,000 to win Freedom 76 Modified Classic. The 76 lap race is expected to attract many of the top dirt track modified racers. Admission is $35 for adults, $10 for youngsters 6 through 12 and under 6 are admitted free. Tickets can be ordered through the mail by sending a check/money order payable to Grandview Speedway along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to 87 Wilt Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505.
                And fans should be reminded that the ARDC midgets will be in action along with the ROC Sportsman stock cars in a Friday, September 12, 7:30 p.m. special doubleheader show that will also feature practice sessions for the Modifieds. Adult admission is $12 while youngsters 6 through 12 will be admitted for $5 and kids under 6 will get through the gate free,
