It's Jeep Jamboree time at the Bridgeport Speedway this Saturday night with the Jeeps leading a pace lap prior to feature event action!
The Spirit Dodge Big Block Modifieds, the 811 Dig Safely Crate/Sportsman and Stewart Stainless Outlaw Stocks will take part in the triple-header racing program that gets underway at 7pm on the 5/8th mile Bridgeport Speedway.
The Big Block Modifieds and Outlaw Stocks will compete for starting spots in their twenty-five lap and fifteen laps features, respectively, while the Crate/Sportsman will compete in a pair of Twin 15 lap feature events. Multiple features are always fan favorites but offer big challenges for the drivers and crew members who need to prepare the cars.
Fans will be greeted upon arrival by 2012 Bridgeport Track Champion, Rick Laubach, Crate/Sportsman competitor, rookie, Justin Lilick and two time Outlaw Stock Feature winner, Jeramy Doerr. The drivers will be available to pose for pictures and sign autographs before heading back to the pit area to prepare for the night's competition.
Stand as One will provide musical entertainment before the races as well as during intermission. There will be t-shirt launches, rides on the Bandit Bus as well as special promotions for the Cicontes Driver of the Night and the Village Pub. The Outlaw Stocks will pre-stage behind the grandstand prior to their feature event.
The Slingshots will be running in addition to a regular show this Friday night on the Bridgeport quarter mile track. The four-division show gets underway at 8pm. Joining the Slingshots will be the 600cc and 270cc Micro Sprints along with the 4 Cylinders in the Friday night action.
