9TH ANNUAL RISLONE NATIONALS RETURN TO WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY FRIDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 1

With $4,000 going to the race winner, a talented field of competitors are expected to fill the pit area on Friday night, August 1 at the Williams Grove Speedway as the Rislone Nationals for 360/358 sprint cars.    Prior Rislone National  winners include  Mark Smith (2013), Tony Stewart 2012, Lance Dewease  (2011),  Daryn Pittman  (2010), Aaron Ott (2009), Kenny Adams (2008),  Ed Aikin (2007) and Pat Cannon in 2006.    
 
This very attractive payoff offers $4,000 to the winner,  $1,000 for tenth and $325 offered just to start the 25 lap feature and this all takes place at one of the most historic race tracks in the country, the Williams Grove Speedway.  Gates open a 5 PM with race time set for 7 PM.
 
Procedures for the event include a  draw for the heats and a redraw for the feature.    An event sheet that includes the complete payoff and car specifications is posted on the URC website under the competitors page  (www.urcsprints.com)    The 358 sprints are welcome to compete but must meet the weekly Williams Grove engine rule.   Adjustable wings are allowed but no other cockpit adjustable devices.

Cher Zimmerman Update-----------------
For more than two weeks, URC Managing Member Cher Zimmerman has been confined to the hospital battling internal complications.    
 
During that time, Cher was in the Intensive Care Unit at the Christiana Hospital.   Today, Cher’s status has been upgraded to fair and even more good news, she is out of the ICU.     Cher is resting comfortably in room 5c19a at Christiana Care Ogletown-Stanton  Road   Newark, DE  19718
