COMING EVENTS: Saturday, April 5, 7 p.m. 52nd Annual Season Opener, NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock car racing. Gates open at 5 p.m. Adult admission is $15, youngsters 12 and under are admitted free. And there is always free parking on speedway grounds.
Sunday, April 6, 1 p.m. Enduro racing
Saturday, April 12, 7 p.m. Twin 20-lap features for NASCAR 358 Modifieds plus Late Models and Sportsman racing. Adult admission is $20 while youngsters 12 and under are admitted for $5.
Saturday, April 19, 7 p.m. NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock car racing. Adult admission is $15. Youngsters 12 and under are admitted FREE.
BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 2, 2014 . . . The 2014 Grandview Speedway stock car racing season, the 52nd consecutive, is set to start on Saturday, April 5 at 7 p.m. The opening night at the Berks County clay oval will feature the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock cars in action. Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m.
          Many of best known talents in dirt tracing stock car racing will be seen in action in a full series of qualifying races leading up to a 30-lap feature for the 358 Modifieds and 20-lap features for the Sportsman and Late Models.
          Admission for the April 5th racing will be $15 for adults and youngsters 12 and under will be admitted free. Pit fees are $30 but only those with NASCAR licenses will be admitted to the competition pit areas.
          Early arriving fans will get a chance to see a variety of race cars on display including a 305 sprint car, an ARDC midgets, enduro cars, NASCAR 358 Modified, Late Model and Sportsman as part of the Low Down & Dirty Meet and Greet.
          On Sunday, April 6, 1 p.m. the always exciting Enduro racers will be in action for the first time this season.
          And coming up on Saturday, April 12th the NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be in action in two 20-lap features along with racing for the Late Models and Sportsman. Adult admission for that special event will be $20 while youngsters 12 and under will pay just $5.
          The first of four doubleheader sprint and midget show is set for Sunday, May 4 at 7 p.m.
          There is always free parking on the grounds of the speedway.
          Season tickets still remain available and can be purchased at the season opening event. For $350 all April through September Saturday night events are included along with a reserved season.
