BILL HILL MEMORIAL CRATE/SPORTSMAN EVENT COMING TO BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY
ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 24

Bridgeport, NJ (July 29, 2013) – On Christmas Eve of 2012, the
Bridgeport Speedway community lost a longtime supporter and friend as
Bill Hill passed away. Hill, who competed and fielded cars for many
years at the Southern New Jersey facility, will be remembered as the
Bill Hill Memorial Crate/Sportsman race will be held on Saturday,
August 24. Jesse and Travis Hill are planning to compete in this event
in honor of their father.

This special race is set to offer several extra incentives for
competitors. Heat winners on this night in the Crate/Sportsman class
will be rewarded with $50 in cash. Lap money will be on tap along with
trophies for the top three finishers of the 20-lap affair. Additional
incentives are in the planning stages. Interested parties who would
like to sponsor a lap or donate a contingency award are encouraged to

In addition, the Big Block Modifieds and Outlaw Stock Cars will be on
the racing agenda.
