RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES
MACH1 CHASSIS URC/358 CHALLENGE FRIDAY NIGHT AT WILLIAMS
GROVE
Mach 1 Chassis will be the lead sponsor when the Rislone URC
Sprint Series make their first visit of the season to the Williams Grove
Speedway on Friday night, June 7. The winner of the 25 lap Mach 1 Chassis
feature event will earn $2,200 for the win. Racing on Friday night will get
underway at 8 PM.
Mach 1 Chassis maintains a large inventory of open wheel
parts and accessories at their Mechanicsburg, PA shop. They inventory enough
parts and products to essentially a complete race-ready roller. Mach 1
fabricates many parts in-house as well as serving as an authorized dealer for

Heat race events will be the method of qualifying with both
the URC Sprints and Williams Grove 358 Sprints lined up according to their
ranking in their respective point standings. The top 20 in Williams Grove
points as of last Friday night, will be seeded into the URC point standing to
determine the line-up. The heat races will go 8 laps and the “B” main will go a
distance of 12 laps. One the line-ups are posted, qualifying will follow the
weekly URC format.
Temporary Permits are not required for the 358 sprints,
however, non-registered driver running a 360 in this event will be required to
complete on a Temporary permit. General rule for this event include a weight
rule of 1,475 with driver, URC engine rules apply for all 360 sprints. URC car
specs will apply and all 360 sprints will be required to run the URC American
Racer left and right rear tires. The 358 sprints are permitted to use the Track
Hoosier left rear and are required to run an American Racer MC 2 on the right
rear. The front tires are open. Adjustable wings are permitted, however, no
other cockpit adjustable devices will be allowed. All 358 sprints MUST
strictly meet the weekly Williams Grove engine rule. All other car specs,
including tires, must be legal per the URC rule book.
Brian Carber of Piperville, PA is the current Rislone URC
point leader. For Carber, this is his first season with URC and has
demonstrated outstanding performance in the first three events of the season.
Davie Franek sits second in the point battle followed by Josh Weller, driving
this year for Chris Weiss. Defending URC Champion Robbie Stillwaggon is fourth
in points with Randy West making up the top five.
