FIVE FABULOUS DIVISIONS OF RACING BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY THIS FRIDAY

MINERSVILLE, PA - MAY 29th, 2013

This Friday evening, May 31st, Big Diamond Speedway presents five divisions of racing brought to you by Ken's Tire. On the card will be the 358 Modifieds, racing 30 laps for $3,000 to win/$300 to take the green, Sportsman, Roadrunners, 600cc Modifeids, and TSRS 305 Sprint Cars. First heat hits the track at 8:15 PM sharp.

Since this event is a rescheduled event from last week, the Modifieds, Sportsman, and Roadrunners, will all be lined-up for the heats using the draw that was determined this past Friday evening. All new competitors that were not present on the 24th will be added to the rear of the heat events. This will be standard practice for the remainder of the 2013 season if Big Diamond rains out after registration has already been completed for the evenings events.

Grandstand wrist bands from May 24th must be used at one of the next two events at the speedway. They will have a face value of $16.00. All pit wrist bands must also be used at one of the next two events, and have either the $30 or $40 value they were purchased for.

As an added bonus to those fans who braved the elements last Friday evening, your $16.00 wrist band will get you into this weeks $20.00 show for no extra charge. That's right, as a thank you for coming out last Friday, track owners Jake and Jasmine Smulley are picking up the tab for the extra $4.00 for those of you that bought a wrist band last Friday evening. One more way to show the best fans in racing how much your support is appreciated.

Looking ahead, on Friday June 7th it's the "Crazy 8's" for the Roadrunner division. Four eight lap features for the fan favorite Roadrunner division. Each feature event will be full points paying events. The point standings should look very different once the racing is done on this evening. The Roadrunners will be joined by the 358 Modifieds and Sportsman.

On Friday, July 5th it's the 33rd annual Georgie Stevenson Memorial paying $3,300 to the winner and $330 to take the green. Also on the card that evening will be the Sportsman, Roadrunners, and 600cc Modifieds.

Don't forget, the Thursday, June 6th racing event originally scheduled for Little Diamond Speedway has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 9th. On the racing card that day will be the 600cc wingless Micro Sprints, 270cc Micro Sprints, and Slingshots. Grandstand admission is only $8.00 with kids 12 and under admitted for free.

Pit participation fee for Little Diamond will be $20 per person, with no age limits on who can enter the pit area. Pit membership is free, with no license required. Car registration is $20 per car/per division. Grandstand admission will be $8.00 per person for everyone ages 13 and up. Children 12 years of age and under are admitted free if accompanied by a paying adult.
