2014 SHOW DATES SET FOR MARCH 2 TO MARCH 8 . . . . .
SUCCESSFUL 6TH ANNUAL IRCO DIRT TRACK HEROES CAR SHOW ENDS WEEK LONG RUN AT PHILLIPSBURG MALL

The IRCO sponsored Sixth Annual Dirt Track Heroes Show came to a successful conclusion Saturday as the show hosts put together another entertaining two show day that featured the stars of the Flemington Speedway and additional tracks in the local area. A great cross section of driving stars took part in the shows and the questions from the fans and the hosts made for some great and amusing answers from the legendary stars on hand. The IRCO sponsored Dirt Track Heroes Show enjoyed a fabulous week at the Phillipsburg Mall as thousands of loyal racing fans came out to listen to their driving heroes and acquire some autographs from them during the back to back shows. Event Organizer Bob Miller made a special announcement to the crowd on hand that the seventh edition of the popular show would return in 2014 with the selected dates of March 2nd through March 8th and the good news announcement brought a great response from the crowd.
Miller thanked the drivers, sponsors and fans for their suppport of the show and then presented show host Steve Pados an Outstanding Achievement Award for his dedicated work ethic for the past six years with the popular show. Pados, for a moment speechless, recovered quickly and thanked Bob Miller for the award and was quick to point out the show is and always will be a team effort with many people coming together to work as a team to produce a show that re-kindles our love of auto racing. After a jam packed Mall crowd on Sunday opened the show, each additional day of the event brought out good sized crowds and the dual show format on Friday and Saturday has become a big hit with all of the Mall attendees.
This edition of the Dirt Track Heroes Show featured race cars from all aspects of the motorsports world and the Penn Jersey Super Markets day provided the icing on the cake for the Dirt Track Heroes events team. IRCO President Jackie Frey offered her thoughts on the show and remarked, "Once again the Dirt Track Heroes Show was another great reflection into the world of motorsports. Everyone involved with the show worked extremely hard at making the show a success and we at IRCO are extremely pleased to be associated with Bob and Donna Miller's winning team".
Ed and Steve Pados and Bobby Stull proceeded into the driver interviews on Saturday with their Flemington Speedway tribute that brought out a great panel of stars that included driving legends Stan "The Man" Ploski, Sammy Beavers, Ken Brenn Sr and Jr, "The Everett Express" Gerald Chamberlain, Dorney Park and Nazareth star George Wambold, Wayne Weaver, Clyde Cox, Wyatt Jacobus, Lenny Boyd, Ray Liss, John Bate, Bobby Rossell, Manny Zilli, writer Lou Brunell, Tom Ervin, Johnny Strupp, Thomas Strupp, famed photographer Ace Lane Jr and many others who stopped by that included Ward and Dottie Crozier, George Ramos III, Ed O'Neal and photogrpahers Bob Yurko and Mel Stettler.
The IRCO Community Federal Credit Union was the headline sponsor for this year's edition of the tremendously successful show with Smith Fabrications and the Stage One Modifieds, Martocci's Automotive, MMF Chassis, Vogel Race Design, Hamlin Speedway/S&S Speedways, Caffe Europa, Reagle Dodge, Persa Auto Repair, Murante Auto Repair, Penn Jersey Super Markets and TownePlace Suites by Marriott all playing a major part with the success of the show. Please support these sponsors whenever you have the opportunity to do so.
The 2014 edition of the show will take place from March 2nd through March 8th and the thought process of how to make the show bigger and better with each passing year is already in the planning stages. A racing Movie Party Night is one new attraction for next year along with a Dirt Track Heroes Scavenger Hunt to take place within the Mall. “Can’t say enough about the great working relationships that has developed between this event and the new owners/management of the Phillipsburg Mall”, commented Miller.
A sincere thank you is extended to all the competitors, vendors, and special guests that made this show a huge success.
