Shoemakersville, PA, Mother Nature seems to be a bit happier today and bright sunny skies are helping prepare the track for a fantastic night of racing.
It is going to be a great night of racing with the action getting under way around with warm ups starting at 5. The Karts, Slingshots, Vigilante 350 and Quads are ready to hit the track and tear it up and see who is the fastest in their division. The Xcel Modifieds also have a non points event this evening.

It is never to early to prepare for the annual Reading Fair and all of the racing that will be held there in just a few weeks. Shellhammer’s Speedway will be hosting racing events on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday that week. Sunday the Quarter Midgets will join the Karts as well as the Mini Pro’s and Quads. This is new for this year’s schedule and it will be a family pleasing day of racing. Monday evening will be Junior and Senior Slingshots, joined by the Wingless 270 Micro Sprints. Tuesday the Junior and Senior Slingshots will return for more racing action for the fans of the Reading Fair. Four Cylinder Stock Cars and The Vintage Car exhibition will be the highlight of Friday’s racing action. Racing, rides and lots of family fun and enjoyment to be had at the Reading Fair!
Gates open at 2:30 pm Saturday afternoons. REGISTRATION IS 3:30 TO 5:00 PM. Warm-up/practice session starts at 5:00 pm. Call-in entries can be made up to 5:00pm and drivers will be placed in their original starting position. (If after 5:00 pm, driver will start in the rear of their class.)
