BRANDON GROSSO WINS FREEDOM 38 SPORTSMAN FEATURE FRIDAY NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW
EDDIE STRADA EARNS HIS FIRST CAREER TSRS 305 SPRINT FEATURE VICTORY
For the first time in his career Brandon Grosso was able to drive to a victory at Grandview Speedway Saturday night earning the impressive win in the Freedom 38 Sportsman main event and picking up $1,500 for his efforts. In the 20-lap feature for the TSRS 305 Sprint cars Eddie Strada was able to earn his first career win.
Finishing second in the 38-lap Sportsman stock car feature race was Craig Whitmoyer followed by Grandview track champion Jordan Henn, Brad Arnold and Jim Housworth.
Scott Lutz finished well behind the leader in the Sprint feature with club champion Mike Haggenbottom grabbing third followed by Tim Tanner and Tommy Carberry.
The Friday night doubleheader attracted 40 Sportsman and 24 Sprint cars.
Saturday night, September 10, 7 p.m. the 46th Annual Freedom 76 Modified Classic is set to take place. Advance ticketholders enter at 3 p.m.while ticket windows open at 3:30 p.m.Adult admission is $40, youngsters 6 thru 11 pay just $10 and kids under 6 are admitted FREE. Rain date is Saturday, September 17.
