LEFFLER ENERGY MICRO SPRINT NATIONALS ON TAP FOR RAHMER PROMOTIONS AT PATH VALLEY SPEEDWAY; ‘PACK THE PATH’ FANS OFFERED $5 ADMISSION ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

SPRING RUN, PA (September 17, 2016) – Excitement from the racing community builds in preparation for Sunday, September 25 when Fred Rahmer Promotions presents the Leffler Energy Micro-Sprint Nationals at Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run, PA.  This double-header of 600cc and 270cc Micro Sprint racing offers a $5 General Admission ticket price as part of Rahmer’s ‘Pack the Path’ promotion.

“We’re proud of the type of competition that the 600cc Micros provide our ‘Party at the Path’ events, and giving them the opportunity to showcase that,” special event promoter Fred Rahmer stated.  “Many of these micro racers are going to move on and be the next Hodnett, Dewease, or Rahmer – and we’ve reduced the admission price so fans can see the quality of driver that the future holds.”

Leading the way into the Leffler Energy Micro-Sprint Nationals is 20-year-old Garrett Bard – the Path Valley Speedway 600cc Micro Sprint Series Champion.  Bard claimed seven wins at Path Valley during the 2016 racing season and has his sight set on the $1,500 top prize.  But a victory for Bard won’t come easy.  Mifflintown, PA’s Tyler Walton has dominated the Fred Rahmer Promotions 600cc Micro Sprint events claiming four of the past five races.

The Leffler Energy Micro-Sprint Nationals will offer $1,500 to win the main event for the 600cc winged Micro Sprints and $1,000 to win the A-main for the 270cc winged Micro Sprints.  Both divisions will race similar formats with competitors drawing for starting positions, followed by qualifying heat races, last chance events, and a 30-lap feature.

Both the 600cc and 270cc Race winners will be offered a guaranteed starting position in the Path Valley Speedway 16th Annual Sprint Car Nationals on Saturday, October 1; and the 600cc Micro Sprint winner will be offered a guaranteed starting position at the Linda’s Speedway National Open on October 14 and 15.

This event is open to all competitors, and no pre-registration is required.  There is a $40.00 registration fee.

The 600cc Micro Sprint competitor Perfect Attendance bonuses include random drawings for an XXX Micro Sprint Racing Chassis, a $500 Hyper Racing Gift Certificate, and a test session in one of Fred Rahmer’s RBR Racing 410 Sprint Cars. An additional test session will be awarded to the competitor that wins the season-long Micro Sprint Point Standings.

General Admission Tickets for Sunday, September 25 at Spring Run, PA’s Path Valley Speedway are $5.  Pit Admission is $30.

Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM with racing at 4:30 PM.
