GEEZER & KAM FUELED RACING, 2016 SEASON… ‘’IT’S A WRAP’’ !
The 2016 season wrapped up for us Saturday niGht. The newly formed Bartorillo owned KAM Fueled Racing Team ultimately finished 8th in the Grandview Speedway NASCAR sanctioned BRC Late Models championship points for the year!
In the cominG weeks the owners, driver, and crew will be GatherinG to reflect on all the Good thinGs that were accomplished, and our experiences (Good or bad, LOL) from the season and map out a plan for 2017. A huGe thanks to all the folks who were a part of the fun for this start up team and thankful to the Bartorillo’s for allowinG me the opportunity to live my dream and passion of driving weekly at the best track in the world. Of course another sincerest of thanks to the Sponsors who kept our team ‘’on track’’ weekly, without them we would have been done early, but instead we attended and raced every single qualifier, and feature event! We promoted them heavily and often with pride and proved time and time aGain the many advantaGes of marketinG throuGh motorsports. Some reported Growth like they’ve never seen before !

The loyal #22 crew this season included Al, Bob, JD, Hunter, Ken, Matt, Ron, Josh and a few others whom would lend a hand as time permitted and we are very Grateful for the help, it really takes a lot to make every show. Al had 100 % attendance and will Get a salary increase of 100 % this off season (100 percent of nothing is still nothing , LOL) along with being able to order an appetizer at Geezers upcoming appreciation dinner...off the kids menu.
QUICK RESULTS:
The #22 finished 2nd in the qualifying heat and finished 13th in the 25 lap main event. Heavy damage resulted after what appeared to be a part failure turning the car into wall early on. Heavy damage to car, but the ol Geezer is fine. CrewinG for the evening were Al, Matt, JD, and Ron L. !! Thank you Guys !! Also a huGe help loading mangled metal at the end of the niGht were the 22 crew, Wendy W., Chuck Weiss, Steve, Ted Knepp and the track tow truck operators. THANKS !!

· All about the FAMILY!! Great to see Granma Ann, Granpa Sam, Steve and Alex in turn 4 during the events, hope they had fun !! Matt was busy helping in the pits…Thanks Bartorillo’s !!!
· ConGrats to Chuck Schutz and his awesome team on their 8thtrack Championship !! The ‘’ONE’’ BRC Late Model team were instrumental in GettinG KAM Fueled RacinG started, and are a deservinG bunch, Good job to all of them !! Dozer the doG in a team shirt was priceless !! Hahahaha
· ConGrats to Jordan Henn on his Sportsman division Championship and Crag Von Dohren in the TP Trailer Modifieds at Grandview for 2016.
· Wayne Pfeil finished 2nd in Championship points and too has a Great team of folks behind him. Shani, Josh, Santa, David and Cheryl are one fun Group, conGrats to all!!
· Dan Green and his #46 team finished 3rd in Championship points and were also a huGe part of the KAM Fueled season, and making it to the end with parts lending, and the all-around family fun atmosphere. Always willinG to help others makes them Great ambassadors for the sport, ConGrats 46 team and thanks for making my suit smell Good one last time !!
· Weso’s Italian Restaurant had Jo, Deb, Terri and a few others in the house to take in some dirt track racing , they all had a blast !!! Thanks for coming !!
· Thanks Missie and Michelle for the awesome treats !! Michelle’s had a theme, but that can’t be mentioned on this family report…LOL ;)
· Great to see Wayne Bucks and Joe Adams after the event and of course we had some laughs with Al, JD, Ron, Wendy and the Weso Girls and told some inappropriate jokes, always entertaining!!
· Deuce and Kylie stopped by and it was Great to see them, Deuce is sporting a new do !! Lookin Good brutha !!
· A sincere heartfelt thanks to all that have been checking on me after my hit, means a lot, I am ok, it would take more than a 3/4’’ steel boiler plate wall to knock sense into me.
