COME ON OUT TO GRANDVIEW AND SEE WHO WILL WIN THE TITLES TONIGHT


                $25,000 TO WIN FREEDOM 76 SET FOR SEPTEMBER 10
                  SPRINTS AND SPORTSMAN PLUS MOD PRACTICE SEPT. 9
Defending champion Craig VonDohren will be looking to add to his impressive resume of track championships, eight so far, when the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds take to the track tonight. Mike Gular and Jeff Strunk, a 10-time track champion, will be looking to keep VonDohren from winning that title and taking it themselves. In the BRC Late Models Chuck Schutz will be looking to hold off a challenge from Wayne Pfeil to win his eighth title. And in the Sportsman division the title is ups for grabs by leader Jordan Henn, Mike Lisowski, Craig Whitmoyer, Brian Hirthler, and Ryan Lilick. All five Sportsman racers are shooting for a first championship.

                Unique is the fact that Grandview offers both a track championship and a NASCAR title so that means double the championship money.
                There will be plenty of action tonight when the Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman take part in WNPV-1440AM Radio Night. Racing will start at 7:30 p.m.
                The weekly Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet will have racers showing off their cars and signing autographs at 5 p.m. near the main gate. That is the same time the main gate opens to spectators. Adult admission for this the final point event of the season is $15 for adults and youngster under 12 are admitted free.
                Lap sponsorships ($20) and advance tickets ($35) will be available for the 46th annual Freedom 76 set for Saturday, September 10th at 7 p.m. With $25,000 up for grabs for the winner the event annually attracts top name dirt track modified racers. Adult tickets on race day at $40, youngsters 6 through 11 pay just $10 and kids under 6 are admitted free. Rain date is September 17.
                Next Friday, September 9th, 7 p.m. the TSRS 305 Sprints are in action along with the Sportsman stocks (38 lap feature) plus Modifieds will have an opportunity to practice. Adult admission is $12 while youngsters 6 thru 11 pay $5 and kids under 6 are admitted free. There is no rain date for the Friday event.
