An all-star field is shaping up for this event.
There have been six STSS Modified Velocita South Region races this season and six different winners: Anthony Perrego (Georgetown March 12), Wade Hendrickson (Bridgeport, N.J., April 17), Ryan Watt (Big Diamond, Pa., May 17) Stewart Friesen (Delaware International May 26), Billy Pauch Jr. (New Egypt, N.J., June 14) and Ryan Godown (Susquehanna, Pa., Aug. 7). All six drivers – and many more – are expected to contend on Tuesday.
Friesen and Watt are separated by just 49 points in the race for the STSS $8,500 South Region championship. Friesen will need to finish 11th or better to secure the title.

The event is among the most lucrative all season for drivers in Delaware with nearly $30,000 in cash on the line for a 35-lap main.
