A new race season quickly approaches, with lots of new and exciting things heading your way:
Ø Geezer Gazette Subscription Information:
First and foremost, thank you for being on ‘’the list’’ to receive this newsletter…if you decide to opt out of receiving this Geezer Gazette now is the time !! Subscription was free as you know, but if you’ve had enough of the fun, news, results, photos, and shenanigans simply e-mail me back with your address and say ‘’opt out’’. After your cancellation check of $515 clears, you’ll be taken off the list. Past 9 years the cancellation donation was $500, cost of living has it creeping up, act quick!! Simple as that. I’m hoping three or four of you decide to ‘opt out’, LOL
Ø New Team for 2016 !! :
Busy winter, no such thing as an ‘’off season’’ for racers… A new team has been formed and a lot is happening already!! Lynda and Steve Bartorillo of Limerick, Pa. along with their children Kylie Alex and Matt have joined forces with Geezer and the hard working, anxious 22 crew (Al, Bob, JD, Hunter, Ava, Beans, Ken L. and Ken S.). The new team: KAM Fueled Racing will be competing in the Grandview Speedway BRC Late Model division in car #22 for 2016. A very informative web site is already up and running and a blog will be added very shortly, be sure to chime in. Erik Renninger has done an excellent job building the site and his services are available if you need a site for your business, team or product. He can be contacted through the site, as ‘’Webmaster-E’’ or through me @ 2geezer2@gmail.com . Visit this new site www.kamfueledracing.com often. The Bartorillo’s have formed a relationship with the Geezer and team through the years at Grandview and recently decided to jump in with both feet. We promise to have fun while we promote our marketing partners, and enjoy the sport along with all it has to offer. We will be working hard and running ‘’harder’’. Season starts Saturday April 2nd. Lots of fun things planned, stay tuned. Coach Pete and Ralphy will have turn 4 hoppin this year we assure you !! Lynda, Steve, Kylie, Alex and Matt are super excited, same can be said for the entire team and marketing partners.
Ø Car Show This Weekend:
The newly designed #22 car will be on display this weekend ! Come out to the Coventry Mall this Friday (2-26), Saturday (2-27) or Sunday (2-28) during regular mall hours and check it out. The team has put many hours (and dollars) into the 2009 Berheisel Lazer car so we hope you like it. The owner (Steve) and letterer ( Joe aDaMS) sure made it hard on the ol Geezer but it’s lookin Good. Chuck Schutz, a competitor and 7 time champion at Grandview in the Late Models was instrumental in our new ‘’deal’’, so a sincere thanks to Chuck and his team for helping us get started. Special thanks also to event organizer Scott Hoffmaster and Wicked Effects Car Club for hosting this car show that has brought tons of fans into the mall for the previous shows. Hope to see you there. Maybe princess Jennifer and King Jordy will be there ? ;)
Ø Get Well Theresa and Bruce Rogers:
Get well wishes to Theresa and Bruce Rogers whom were involved in a collision while they visited Florida recently. The founders of Grandview Speedway which will be in its 53rd year of operation are in the hospital as this is typed… Get well from all of us at KAM FUELED RACING !!

Ø Coming Up:
Once this weekend’s car show wraps up we will tear into preparing all components needed for competition. A free to the public practice at Grandview will be from noon til around 5 on Saturday March 26th, where we will test and tune the #22 before the first night of competition which is scheduled for Saturday April 2nd, with racing starting at 7 pm. A live radio show is in the works with the entire team being a part of it, thanks Amy and Pete of Racer’s Round Table for the invite… date of show will be announced soon.
